Breeding Stock
Hidden Lake Alpacas has available genetically advanced black Huacaya and Suri alpacas for sale to new and existing breeders.
We are able to offer individual animals or packages that meet your needs. We invite your on-farm inspection of breeding dams and their progeny and are happy to consult with you on your requirements.
Breeding dams are available with matings to elite Peruvian stud males.

Hidden Lake's stud sires have proven results in our herd and with other breeders.
We welcome the opportunity to show to you the elite black progeny from our Huacaya and Suri stud sires.
Black Suri & Huacaya Alpaca
As the alpaca industry continues to develop with rapid genetic improvement we believe black alpaca fleece, both Huacaya and Suri, will be in high demand.
Black is always a fashion colour and natural black fleece is the pinnacle.
Hidden Lake Alpacas has a breeding strategy to improve the fleece characteristics of black Huacaya and Suri alpacas and significant gains are being achieved year on year.
