We specialise in breeding horses that are sound and safe to ride by all ability levels, whether you are a Grade 5 Pony Club/Adult Rider or an established performer, a Shadastra Lodge horse will meet your needs.

Our horses are bred to excel in all disciplines, although our primary focus is on eventing types. We currently have a 50% Thoroughbred 50% Quarterhorse stallion that we use over 100% Thoroughbred mares. Our Thoroughbred lines are carefully chosen and you will find our horses trace back to Nasrullah (Nearco x Mumtaz Begum). This lineage can be found in MANY of the top Thoroughbred performance stallions (including Brilliant Invader and Family Ties).

We also retrain Thoroughbreds off the track, ready to go into any discipline, although again most are carefully selected for eventing type.
