Laikipia was the first registered Dorper and White Dorper Stud on the Monaro.  It is owned by Charles and Hilary Keighley.

In 2003, a pen of 3 Laikipia White Dorper cross lambs won the Hook section of the Hoof and Hook competition for the over 50 kgs class at the Cooma Show.  They were also Reserve Champions for all classes in both the Hoof and the Hook sections.  In 2008 Laikipia won the 45-50 kg class on the Hook at the Cooma Show.  In 2011 a pen of 3 Dorpers won champion lambs on the hoof at Cooma Show for the 50-55kgs class. 

2007 was the first year that rams were taken to the Dubbo National Sale and the scanning results were very encouraging and competed well with all the established studs for EMD.  Rams were again taken to Dubbo in 2010 and were sold to an average of $2750 

Annual Open Days have been held and the inaugural on-property sale was held in February 2010.
