Bonny Belle started as a small alpaca stud in year 2000 purchasing its first pregnant female alpaca. This began a journey of love and admiration for these regal animals and the superior fibre they produce. Since then our herd has grown in number and quality using the SRS (Soft Rolling Skin) principles developed by Dr Jim Watts to produce a finer, higher yeilding, conformationally correct alpaca. We now produce a superior alpaca with fine dense fibre which we can use to produce quality garments. We use this superior fleece to produce garments at our "on farm shop". Feeling is believing the advancements and superior nature of this fleece. Our on-farm shop showcases some of the beautiful products which can be produced from the fibre grown from our alpacas. You can get up close to these beautiful animals or watch then from a distance while perusing the Alpaca shop. Garments range from socks and scarves to jumpers, wraps and ponchos and for the home there are fluffy throws and doonas all made from fleece from Alpacas.
