VOLLRATH HANOVERIAN STUD 

Established in 1978 using the newly imported Hanoverian Stallions Winnebago & Witzbold over selected TB mares. With the import of the stallion Distelfink a more serious approach was taken ...  leading to the state Vollrath Stud is now in = breeding G5 Hanoverian sport horses from a diverse pool of broodmares.

We have used the following imported German stallions: Winnebago, Witzbold, Distelfink and Genius up to 1992 the year when our first own import from Germany the wonderful Dynamit arrived. Further stallions followed: Worldwide P.B., Lessing, Fürst Patrick and in 2010 the purchase of a young colt Gershwin (Goldfever II / Ramires).

We absolutely believe in and breed under the motto "thinking in generations". We do not simply follow the 'in' type fashionable bloodlines.

Berny Maubach, the stud master, produces the 'raw diamonds' and his wife Jutta Rosenblatt is the professional equestrienne who puts the 'cut and polish' on these diamonds. A team where one cannot do without the other.
