Kobler Alpaca Stud

Nestled in the beautiful lush green Adelaide Hills and less than 50 minutes from the Adelaide CBD you will find Kobler Alpacas. Here we specialise in breeding brown and fawn coloured Huacaya alpacas although you will find Huacaya of all colours.

Here at Kobler Alpacas we believe in the potential of the Australian Alpaca fleece and are breeding for the foundation of a far larger fleece herd of super fine coloured Huacaya alpacas. For the 2010 clip almost 40% of the herd was below 20 micron with a herd average of just 21.1 micron. The herd has been established from some of Australia’s most renown genetics including, Warrior, Golden Flame, Auzengate, Highlander, El Sol, Brigantine and Inti.

You can regularly find some of Koblers best alpacas at shows around the country including Sydney (Easter Show), Bendigo (Colourbration), Murray Bridge (Colour Classic), Werribee (Alpaca Fest), Adelaide (Adelaide Royal) and the National as it tours round the country. Beyond the competitive alpaca shows we also attend country shows in South Australia and a number of other events.
