Brief history of Hopkins River Beef

The Hopkins River Beef brand was established in 1996 to deliver the finest beef to customers and discerning diners. Since then, we have worked hard to deliver a product that is now regarded as the markets premier beef brand. 

Located at Dunkeld in Western Victoria, the Maconochie Family have been raising cattle and finishing them for more than sixty years. Our customers can now enjoy one of our grain or grass finished products knowing that it has been produced with the consideration of environmental sustainability.

Hopkins River Beef is committed to its own Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme. As a company we are focused towards the healthy aspects of agriculture and environmental sustainability. By utilising waste products Hopkins River Beef aims to create a 'carbon sink' large enough to offset all of its green house gas emissions.
